MIKAELA BALFANY ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE mbalfany@zeppos.com As an Account Executive at Zeppos & Associates, Balfany works on a variety of projects including strategic planning, writing, media and community relations, social media outreach, special event planning and more. Her recent work includes ongoing national publicity efforts to promote Wisconsin’s largest fruit crop; implementing a major Milwaukee brewery’s social responsibility program nationwide; promoting a well-known virtual school in Wisconsin and Michigan; and designing key community education pieces for a national waste services company. Prior to joining Zeppos & Associates in 2008, Balfany was a public information officer for a cabinet–level state agency where she was responsible for speech writing and media relations, as well as served as editor of the agency’s quarterly newsletter. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Balfany holds a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
