KATIE MIONI ASSISTANT ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE kmioni@zeppos.com As an assistant account executive at Zeppos & Associates, Mioni is responsible for a variety of client services, including writing, community relations, special event planning, media relations, social media management and more. Her recent projects include coordinating the development of and publicity for a new and popular Wisconsin State Fair food for the cranberry industry. She has also been involved in developing and implementing media strategies for one of the country’s largest pain management practices. Prior to joining Zeppos & Associates, Mioni served as a media representative and volunteer for a national community service organization of the federal government. In these roles, she attended to natural disasters, improved low-income housing, built new homes and created environmental conservation programs. Additionally, she was involved in seeking local media coverage for each project and managing social media assets of the organization. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Mioni holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism. While a student, she served as public relations intern at a Madison media company and marketing intern for the state of Wisconsin where she connected entrepreneurs with the resources they needed to grow their businesses. She also served as president of her industry related student organization.
