KATHLEEN MCCANN SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE kmccann@zeppos.com As a senior account executive at Zeppos & Associates, McCann is responsible for a variety of client services, including writing, media relations, special event planning and more. Prior to joining Zeppos & Associates, McCann served as director of media relations for a well-respected university, garnering local and national coverage for that institution's programs, faculty and facilities, including a new art museum and athletics center. Before that, McCann was part of the communications team for Wisconsin's largest visual arts institution, producing unprecedented coverage for a wide range of activities, as well as producing a variety of marketing products. Highlights included an award-winning campaign for an exhibition that toured the United States and Latin America, and a $100-million building addition designed by a renowned architect. Her 10-year career as a freelance writer highlights her versatility. She was a contributing writer of a live music column for a weekly newspaper and wrote features articles for magazines and new media outlets. She began her career in print media, working for Milwaukee's daily morning newspaper. McCann is a member of the Southeastern Wisconsin chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. She holds a bachelor's degree in mass communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
