His efforts have also included coordinating crisis communications for healthcare, financial and service organization providers, assisting grassroots efforts regarding developments, implementing a communications and community outreach plan for a significant environmental project, producing extensive publicity for an international manufacturer, developing award–winning promotions for video games and video releases, and helping a national pharmaceutical company raise awareness of important health issues. Additionally, Knox has written and produced numerous video productions for corporate, government and non–profit clients. Knox's broadcast journalism experience includes tenure as a reporter and back–up anchor at a Milwaukee television station. He also worked as an anchor/reporter at network affiliates in Green Bay and Rockford, Ill., and as an assistant TV producer in Nashville, Tenn. During more than a decade in television, Knox covered a variety of areas, including business, government, law enforcement, agriculture, health care, utility deregulation, telecommunications, tourism and transportation. Knox has interviewed literally thousands of people from all walks of life, including professional athletes, entertainers and U.S. Presidents. He was the lead reporter on a wide range of crisis situations and also received awards for spot news and continuing news coverage.
