BRENNA KRIVISKEY SADLER, APR VICE PRESIDENT bsadler@zeppos.com Sadler, formerly an award-winning journalist, has used her solid writing skills and extensive print and broadcast media experience to address a variety of major public relations challenges. Her recent work includes leading publicity efforts for a well-known, metro Milwaukee-based sub sandwich chain; implementing public affairs strategies leading to the approval of a new Downtown Milwaukee hotel; promoting a Wisconsin bank’s innovative efforts to reach new audiences through social media; and providing public relations and government affairs counsel to one of the area’s largest sports and entertainment venues. She has drafted and implemented communications plans for the mergers of banks, law firms and manufacturers; helped launch restaurants, new businesses and entertainment venues; conducted media training for attorneys, food manufacturers, road builders and others; and developed and implemented crisis communications plans for a number of companies and organizations. Sadler's work has earned a national Silver Anvil Award of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of America and numerous Paragon Awards from PRSA’s Southeastern Wisconsin chapter. Her journalism experience includes reporting and editing positions at daily newspapers in Southwest Florida and Michigan, at two Milwaukee radio stations and in the Washington, D.C., bureau of a nationally syndicated television news program. She has received journalism awards from the Florida Society of Newspaper Editors, the Florida Press Club, Scripps Howard Newspapers and the Hearst Foundation, and attended the National Writer's Workshop at the Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, Fla. Sadler earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) designation in 2001 from the national Public Relations Society of America.
